The Team
Formed by Neil Gledhill in 2006, Hemisphere Rigging Services is the culmination of his 10 years within the marine industry. Having undertaken the position of Base Manager with Sunsail at the tender age of 24 Neil ran bases both overseas and here in the UK.

His career progression was undoubtedly accelerated by his time at the Challenge Business, working on the 2004 Global Challenge round the world yacht race as fleet rigger.

The final step before taking the plunge and ‘going it alone’ was the alteration of a 72′ Challenge Yacht to enable Dee Caffari to become the first woman to successfully circumnavigate the globe westabout, single handed.

In addition to Neil, The Hemisphere team encompasses: Jason Haswell who has worked in the Plymouth marine trade for the past 14 years, Nathan Goodland; with a background as a qualified dinghy instructor, he has grown up in the industry. Sam Matson – brings a diverse and dynamic skill set with experiences including professional offshore sailor and navigator, campaign manager, project manager and crisis management. The shore-based crew members are Becky Williams & Dani Kelly – who handle the day to day running of the office and customer relations – you may find them lending a hand outside, but only when it’s sunny! And finally, Captain Hook – who handles all HR matters!
